Quality Assurance Analyst

AZAD Technology Partners is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to be an impactful contributor on multiple large-scale projects aimed to improve technical solutions and approaches for continuous process improvement and delivery of quality services for an enterprise level organization committed to the advancement of environmental sustainability throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The ideal candidates must possess the following experience and qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a directly-related technical field is preferred.
  • With an applicable Bachelor’s degree, 6 years’ of experience is required.
  • With an applicable Associate’s degree, 7 years’ of experience is required.
  • Without an applicable degree, 9 years’ of experience is required.
• Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or Management and should involve test methodology design and implementation, along with hands-on experience writing test plans, test cases, test data and test database creation, problem tracking/resolution, coordinating test activities among multiple testers, and maintaining defect logs among other applied skills and knowledge.

Preferred:

• Experience with XML, and/or SQL Server in database driven applications.
• Experience working with Agile software development teams.
• Understanding of the design and implementation of QA and testing methodologies in large complex systems using various development methodologies.
• Knowledge of test case design and test script writing (manual and automated tests).
• Familiarity with formal SQA methodologies including software development life cycles, testing processes and standards.
